For far too long, access to alternative investments has been limited to institutional investors & insiders who can leverage proprietary opportunities to capture outsized returns. These investments have been inaccessible for the individual investor and "Main Street” has been left behind.
At Gridline, we believe that everyone should be able to emulate what the smartest investors are doing with their portfolios, but we recognized no system was in place to provide this unfettered access. So we built one.
Previously Chief Investment Officer of RFA Management Company, LLC, a large multi-generational single-family office, and Chairman of the Investment Committee. Prior to that, Doug was Vice President, Equity Research and Senior Portfolio Manager for Cornercap Investment Counsel, and was co-portfolio manager for a ’40 Act mutual fund. Doug earned his MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, where he was a Robert W. Woodruff Fellow, and a BS degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Mr. Dougherty is a CFA charter holder, a member of the CFA Institute, and the CFA Society of Atlanta.
Previously an Associate Vice President with Wells Fargo's Investment Portfolio analyzing investments held on the bank's balance sheet. Prior to the Investment Portfolio he assessed credit risk for the bank's wealth lending relationships. Charles holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business where he interned with the University of Virginia Investment Management Company (UVIMCO) with a focus on the university's private equity holdings. Charles is a CFA Charterholder.
Previously, Sales Development Manager at Juniper Square, an investment management platform enabling the private markets. Prior to that Heather worked at Data Dynamics as the Global Director of Inside Sales and Business Development, and Televerde as Director of Strategic Accounts.
Previously, Greg was in sales, marketing and investor relations at three different investment managers. Prior to this, he worked at two different global investment banks in Sales & Trading.
Previously a Registered Investment Advisor, Austin built and sold a successful financial planning firm. Prior to that, he obtained an MBA from Clemson University.
An alternative investment veteran previously working in the self directed IRA custody space with PENSCO, IRA Services and Forge Trust focused on supporting RIA's, Family Offices and investment platforms. Travis attended UCLA where he was a member the Track team competing in the pole vault. In his spare time he enjoys playing guitar, surfing, skiing and coaching youth hockey.
Previously Business Development at Gong.io, an industry leader in the Revenue Intelligence space. Alex attended University of Florida where he served as Co-Founder/Director of Education of UF's first crypto and alternative assets club that was awarded New Student Organization of the Year by Heavener School of Busniess.
After working for 4 years professionally as an actor, Christopher made the switch to full-stack software engineering. Here at Gridline, his focus is primarily on back-end development, where he implements scalable, secure, and efficient API's for both client-facing and internal tools.
Previously, Full Stack Engineer at Five Tier, Faculty Member at Parsons School of Design. Jeremy brings years of experience building client-facing applications and delivering scalable solutions.
Previously Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at BetterCloud a SaaS Management Platform. Before BetterCloud, he was a Software Test Engineer at Pursuant Health, a health screening kiosk company. Dave brings years of experience in front-end, back-end, automated, and manual testing.
